Mr. Frank Garcia, Sicklerville, New Jersey, writes:
"On behalf of my family, friends, and the vast majority of the Filipino people of South Jersey, we strongly recommend and support our very own Congressman Robert E. Andrews for his campaign for the senate. Mr. Rob Andrews is a true public servant. He is a man of action and dignity whom our family, community, and the working class of New Jersey can count on. We always want him to be our voice at the United States congress and senate, in passing bills and legislations concerning the welfare of our family, community, our city, our country and to all nations.
"On December 6th, 2007, my late father was diagnosed of a stomach cancer, and made his last wish to see all his children, to give his final blessings. In order to fulfill his last wish, I immediately arranged for the emergency visa applications of my brothers in the Philippines. Likewise, I seek the help of the office of our Congressman Robert Andrews to intervene with the Philippine-US Embassy Consular's office in order to facilitate the processing and avoid delays. Congressman Robert Andrew's staff, Mr. CJ Sikorski and Elizabeth Mckenna made a direct contact with the Philippine-US embassy consul to facilitate the Visa. On December 24, 2007, a day before Christmas, my brothers from the Philippines arrived in New Jersey and our Family was reunited. It was my Father's last Christmas with us. And, while his last wish was granted, he had blessed his family and departed peacefully on December 28th, 2007. We thank the Congressman and his staff for their efforts in making my father's last wish possible. This gratitude bears in our family's hearts and minds. Thank you very much and more power to Congressman Robert E. Andrews!"
John Lorman, Erial, New Jersey, writes:

Karen McGinnis; Woodbury, New Jersey, needed life saving heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. She had no health insurance. Karen states:
"Congressman Andrews, thanks to your intervention the Cleveland Clinic awarded me Charity Care and my heart surgery was performed. I am now recovering back in NJ and will be forever grateful for your genuine concern and assistance."
Brenda Murrow; Barrington, New Jersey writes:
"Congressman Andrews, I know that your actions helped to expedite my disability claim. You always treated my problems as being the only situation you were working on. You are a very special person. I am no longer afraid of being homeless and penniless. You are what makes this country great..."
Karen Ruggles, Brooklawn, New Jersey writes:
“I want to publicly thank Ben Graziano, district representative in the office of U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews, D-N.J., for wonderfully and swiftly coming to the aid of our family on July 30.
Our son, an Iraqi veteran, lost his wife tragically in childbirth on July 26. He believed he had life insurance for her, but because of recent changes in his employee benefits, he no longer had coverage for a spouse's death.
The funeral director suggested burying his wife in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Because my son, in his grief, could not locate his discharge papers, we were frantically trying to find another burial place, which would have cost my son an additional $5,000 in funeral costs.
I called Andrews' office Monday morning, the day before her burial, and explained the situation. I was assured it would immediately work on the problem and get back to me within a short while.
I was relieved a few hours later to hear they had already spoken with the cemetery and had her burial approved.”
